While not everybody can be a Top Gun graduate, many antique aircraft and skilled pilots have a military pedigree of which they can be justifiably proud. Piper, Cessna, Stinson, Stearman and many other companies made light planes which served brilliantly in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Many of these planes make it to Sentimental Journey and everybody enjoys learning about the aircraft and watching them return to the skies.
