The Sentimental Journey fly-in, welcomes all flyers and all types of planes, and is one of the America’s best-loved and most family-friendly fly-ins. One of the most interesting aspects of the fly-in are the historical airplanes which show up from time to time. These fragile beauties only fly on the calmest days, and certainly not into IMC conditions. Every couple of years a fellow named Mark Stewart brings his Taylor J-2 Cub over to the event. This plane is unique because it features a rare Revel single-blade prop, which is hard to believe until you see it in action. One thing is for sure: nobody gets bored at Sentimental Journey.
