New Updates: Document Package Updated Processes
New RMS Release Updates for patch 481 Release date 6/27/2024
Document Packages have received a significant update this release. RMS allows return for corrections and records the changes made to the item while the item is being created, submitted, accepted/rejected, and returned for corrections. This is now summarized in a Revision History section located at the bottom of many modules in RMS.
Document Packages are now being tied to an item instead of needing its own acceptance/rejection independent of the item to which it is attached. Meaning, when submitting a correspondence or RFI for example, the Document Package is completed and submitted along with the item.
NOTE: These changes DO NOT apply to the Transmittal Log module.
If a module did not previously have a submit/reject/return/accept procedure, those Document Packages will no longer have a folder icon. Instead, users will see Submit, Return, Accept, or Complete options outside of the Document Package for the following modules.
