Q&A Section:

Q: Was "Return to Contractor for Corrections" button removed? If yes, why?
A: Yes, “Return to Contractor” is being removed to be replaced with “Reject” to keep a system of record of what was done. This is not happening on all the modules only some of them, for now. So, for example in document packages, just create another one instead of returning to keep a system of record.
Q: Are these changes effective on current contracts or when new contracts begin?
A: They will be effective on current contracts once the next version of RMS is released later this week.
Q: If an FIO submittal is X-Coded, will the resubmittal be able to be changed to GA on the subsequent transmittal?
A: It will be locked once it is submitted, meaning no, you cannot change the classification.
Q: Where will the Reject button appear in the Transmittal area?
A: For now, the idea for Transmittals is that if you reject it, you will code the submittal with a QA Reject Code and they will resubmit with the resubmittal process that way.
Q: Is “Accept package” the only option?
A: Correct, accepting it sends it off to PCF. “Not accepted” button will be discussed with TMO. Submit a support ticket for further discussion.
Q: On the transmittal slide 12, the review due button appears to be greyed out on the new look. Recommend this remain editable.
A: This will be discussed with TMO.
Q: The Review Due date should populate initially based on review days.
A: Correct, it's a calculated field, based on review days - the Govt can go in and changed the received date as long as it is after the prepared date and the Review Due date will change based on that date.
Q: Typically, the only document in a submittal/transmittal that is signed is the 4025. Isn't the pop-up box just an extra step?
A: The idea is that now the one-click wonder will complete the document package when clicked. Before, RMS required the user to go in and complete the document package after using the one-click wonder, so this reduces clicks. And correct, RMS just signs the 4025 with the QA code.
Q: What about variance available in contract specifications?
A: We would need further information, please submit a support ticket.
Q: Is there are reason why documents that are uploaded to RMS are not transferring to PCF.
A: There can be various reasons but MOSTLY because document packages are not getting checked completed. If you did check them as completed and they still are not going to PCF, please let us know by putting in a ticket so that we can look into why. Usually, when documents are not transferring, it is because the document package had not been accepted in Government mode.
Q: Is the import from Government mode still active?
A: To import submittal registry, yes.
Q: Please say again who can accept the import?
A: A Government user needs to accept.
Q: Why is this limited to district/office administrators for submittal register import?
A: Only the overwrite is limited to office/district admins, not normal import.
Q: How will Contractors know about these changes? Will there be training for them?
A: Right now, we only support Government Training. Most of these change impact Government users - Contractors won't be affected much with these changes.
Q: Will the recording of this training be available?
A: We usually get the recording up on our YouTube site in a handful of business days or sooner.    / @rmssupportcenter1486
Q: Do these Brown Bag sessions go out to the contractors?
A: Contractors can access the YouTube site where we post the recordings.
Q: What about variance available in contract specifications?
A: We would need further information, please submit a support ticket.
