Q&A:
Q: Deleted Doc Package files - Will orphaned docs be removed retroactively?
A: No, they will not, and this is because RMS does not track which documents have had the corresponding document packages removed or not.
Q: Will the issues with unit prices (not job or lump sum) that are preventing the ENG93 upload to CEFMS issue be resolved?
A: We are still working with CEFMS to allow those types of Obligations to be uploaded from RMS to CEFMS.
Q: Can I get further information on RMS and certified payrolls?
A: The YouTube channel will be helpful for this (see link on slide 31). Please contact district administrators for further, specific details. Also, please put in a ticket if you have any issues finding what you’re looking for.
Q: Has the "Contract Notification Control" tab fixed the notifications for "Notify via SMS“?
A: Not yet. We are working with Amazon and the carriers to restore that service. It's estimated 8-12 weeks at the earliest though. For now, email and in-app notifications are functional.
Q: Will the correspondence numbering be corrected with the fix you reviewed?
A: That should be working properly at the current time, so if you have some incorrectly sequenced numbers, please contact the RMS Help Desk for further assistance.
Q: Can the links from the References slide be provided to Contractors?
A: Contractors can be sent to the RMS Help Desk and/or YouTube channel. The KM Portal is only accessible by Government.
Q: Tulsa District does not allow the use of RMS for certified payrolls
A: Every district has its own rules - very important to follow those and refer to district policy.
Q: It the most current Patch is 446, version 198?
A: Yes, the next release will be tomorrow. This patch is expected to be 453 and will include what was reviewed today.
Q: Is there a way to stop a contractor payroll generating after a contractor demobilizes?
A: Yes, Contractor Payroll is set up in two places, Prime Contractor/Subcontractor modules and the Contractors on Site module. The Contractor Onsite dates must be entered correctly. Or if a subcontractor should not have any payroll generated, then in the subcontractor’s module, uncheck the payroll required checkbox. This can only be done and updated for subcontractors by the Contractor, so let them know if the payroll dates need to be corrected.
