Creating A Virtual Green Room on TriCaster
A “Green Room” is a place where people scheduled to appear on a show wait and talk prior to going live. It is a place where guests can be introduced and producers can help them get ready to go live. With more people joining productions remotely, Green Rooms need to be reimagined to include virtualized spaces.
On today’s show, we’ll go over how to create a Virtual Green Room for 6 remote guests using a TriCaster. We will leverage two mix/effect buses (with re-entrancy) and integrate an overlay with Datalink to display guest metadata.
At the end of today’s show, we’ll also do a quick demo of our Call-In One remote guest solution, including how to work with the guest metadata it publishes.
