Follow-Up: Creating Complex Layered Graphics in vMix
On last week's live show, we used the "smart object" feature in Photoshop to created layered images that placed an "unprocessed" version of an image in front of a scaled, cropped, and processed version of that same image. This approach let us drop any image into our smart object, and automatically get the fully processed composite. These layered images were then combined with other elements inside of vMix to create lower 3rds.
Since not everyone uses Photoshop as their image editor, I wanted to post a follow-up to that show covering how you could accomplish a very similar effect using just the capabilities inside of vMix - no external image editor required.
