Slide Open Your Lower 3RD To A Sponsor’s Logo

Recently, I was asked by someone in our community if it was possible to build a lower 3rd in vMix similar to one they saw on FIBA’s U17 Basketball World Cup coverage. The interesting feature of this sports focused lower 3rd was how it could slide open to reveal a sponsor’s logo, then slide back closed again – all while keeping the score and clock fields updating.
On today’s show, we’ll use vMix and GT-Title designer to recreate this exact behavior in a scoreboard styled lower 3rd. We’ll use dynamic scripts to control the selection and display of the sponsor logos, populated from a data source linked to an Excel spreadsheet.
