WEATHER CONTROL! Scripting a Live Display in vMix Like a Pro
On today’s show we’re going to dive once again into vMix Scripting to create a live 5-Day Weather Forecast display. To do this, we’ll be using data from a web-based API provided by OpenWeather ( https://openweathermap.org ). We will use scripting to access this weather data via a restful API call (that returns XML), reformat it correctly for display, and directly drive the images and values in a title created with GT Title Designer.
We will also be staying Live after the show to answer any questions and talk with any callers.
