Bikes and Waffles
Are you looking for a fun way to stay or get physically active? LeRoy's Bikeworks hosts a free biking, waffles, and coffee event every other Saturday.
Owner Leroy Manninen created two options for community biking and education. The first is a fun mountain bike ride through the trails of Loyce E. Harpe Park off of Carter Road. The second option is a 20-mile, family-friendly road ride through the neighborhoods surrounding the shop. The rides end back at LeRoy’s Bikeworks with free food and conversation.
Howard Simkin and his son Zachary say it’s a great way to spend time together and they encourage all experience levels to join in the fun.
