Polk Emerge Awards 2017
LkldTV recently joined the nearly 300 people at the Bartow Civic Center to speak with a few of the 29 young professionals nominated for the 2017 Polk Emerging Leaders Awards.
We wanted to hear what community leadership looks like from their perspective. The event is a collaboration between Polk County professional groups EMERGE Lakeland, Endeavor Winter Haven, and Engage Bartow.
The annual awards recognize five young professionals between the ages of 21- 42 who have made significant contributions and commitment to the Polk County community. This year’s winners were Merissa Green, Alice Koehler, Derek Oxford, Ronald Shell, and Chad Tagtow.
