Skinny Tri-Tip BBQ AKA Kabob Barg | A Persian Delicacy
Skinny Tri Tip BBQ dinovalbone style…in this video I show you how I make my Tri-Tip bbq taste like beef tenderloin! In Persian kabob restaurants they usually make kabob barg with lamb or beef tenderloin. Well, tri-tip is more affordable and more readily available in my area, the central coast of California. This area is known for it's Santa Maria style BBQ made with tri-tip. So I fused the two and made this delicious and very tender "skinny" tri-tip bbq by slicing the meat thin and tenderizing in a specific way that I show you step by step.
The tri-tip is served with grilled roma tomatoes and sweet peppers and, of course, basmati rice. I find that roma tomatoes are best for grilling.
