Steely Dan - Black Cow (Audio Only)
Recently, I have been reflecting on all of the music I have heard since I was young and the bands / artists responsible for them. And this process brought me to the bands / artists that were ever present during my childhood. Who produced such an amazing library of tunes.
I was blessed to have grown up in the '70s, which I truly believe was the peak of amazing singer / songwriters.
There were artists that put out song after song that were amazing, that could fill up a playlist all by themself.
One of these was Steely Dan. What an INCREDIBLY gifted set of artists!! Honestly, I loved all of their music!! Picking a favorite was and is hard. However, it is this song that just sticks with me, more than any other.
I never ever thought I would get to see Steely Dan perform live. And then, as fate would have it, I did. At Billboard Live Tokyo, almost 15 years ago,
And I sat less than 30 feet from Donald Fagen!
What an incredibly special night!!
