Using yoga props during your Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Iyengar or any other style of yoga practice can level up your learning experience immediately and uplift spirit in the process.

Try using blocks for the shoulders to set you up well for a whole bevy of postural shapes! This sequence has you lying dow the whole time! The start of the sequence goes like this:

1. Lie down, cross at your shins.
2. Take two yoga blocks, these ones are cork which have a good bit of weight to them (great if you have some strength in your shoulders, if not starting with the light foam blocks could be a good idea).
3. Take the blocks and your arms over head, the blocks on the palms of your hands.
4. Bend one arm until the hand comes to face the ceiling, then press the hand and block up to the sky. Put the moves in reverse, bend the elbow, take the arm over head again. Repeat on the other side!

For the rest of the sequence, hit pause when needed!

Take you time, practice daily and be patient.

Remember the aim of this channel is Practice to Uplift the Human Spirit! Best to do a little practice every day to get closer to the bullseye.
