Delicious, nutritional, beautiful vegan food, very easy to do!
Creamy Vegan Cauliflower Steak
Ingredients:
• Cauliflower - One head makes two "steaks". The rest is used for Cauliflower Rice.
• Mayonnaise
• Sriracha. Use more or less, depending on how spicy you want the "steaks" to be.
• Salt and black pepper to taste.
Tips:
• Keep an eye on the "steaks" as they're baking. They're going to start browning up pretty quickly and that is your clue that they're done.
• Be certain to cut the slices thick. If you cut them too thin, they're going to fall apart. And while that is still edible, you will lose that "steak" vibe that you're going for.
Cauliflower Rice (2 servings)
Ingredients:
• 1-2 tbsp olive oil
• 1/4 cauliflower: 300g/10oz
• 1/2 carrot diced
• 1 green pepper diced
• 1/2 onion diced
• 15g/0.5oz corn
• 15g/0.5oz peas
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper to taste
• a little sesame oil
• a little dried goji berry (optional)
Notes:
If you don’t have a food processor, you can grate the cauliflower with a grater.
