Tired of fixing PS5 stick drift over and over again?
In this video, I’m not just repairing a drifting controller — I’m upgrading it.
This DualSense came in with a drifting left stick, but instead of replacing just one module, I installed TMR (magnetic) sticks on BOTH sides for a permanent solution.
No more worn-out potentiometers.
No more repeat repairs.
No more drift.
👉 This is how you fix it properly.
🔧 What I show in this video:
Diagnosing PS5 stick drift
Safe disassembly of the DualSense controller
Removing original analog stick modules
Installing TMR joystick modules
Final testing & calibration results
⚙️ Why TMR sticks?
Traditional analog sticks wear out — it’s just a matter of time.
TMR (Tunnel MagnetoResistance) technology uses magnetic sensing instead of physical contact, which means:
✔ No mechanical wear
✔ No drifting over time
✔ Much longer lifespan
💡 Pro Tip:
If one stick is drifting, the second one is usually not far behind.
That’s why I always replace both — do it once, do it right.
