Thresher Shark
Thresher Sharks are recognised by their cute faces and long tails.
Threshers are named for their exceptionally long, thresher-like tail, which is reminiscent of a Scythe. Threshing is the separation of grain from crops. The shark is said to move it's tail akin to a threshing action.
These predatory sharks have a varied diet, including fish, squid, cuttlefish, crustaceans and seabirds.
The Common Thresher is said to have some endothermic capabilities.
