WTVD report on the passing of Greg Barnes
Former WTVD reprter Greg Barnes passed at 73 on Wednesday May 29, 2024 (at least that when it was announced), he was there Fayetteville Bureau reporter. He covered 82nd airborne division at Fort Bragg (now known as Fort Liberty), he loved covering military and family reunions, and Camp Lejune. He also has covered the gulf war in the early 90s and countless hurricanes he retired in 2017 after a long career. On a personal note I meet him when I was young he was a nice man, my condolences go to his wife and daughter Hesther during this difficult time.
