When I was young, I was a child who was always anxious, withdrawn, and afraid to speak to people.
Watching my father, who was always drunk and spewing terrifying verbal abuse,
I lived feeling like I was walking on thin ice.
Since the situation never changed, I always had to endure it.
Perhaps that is why, even when I experienced unfair treatment as an adult,
I would endure it, blame myself, and drive myself to the limit.
Because of this, I always felt sorry for my mother, and I came to identify with her.
Even as an adult, I lived hating myself for being stuck at home and unable to do anything.
It’s not that I haven’t tried working outside.
But I could never last more than a month.
I only know how to run away. I always avoid things.

We are recruiting participants for the filming of Jung Hye-shin TV Season 4. (※Application and Announcement ~2/13)
In Season 4 of Jung Hye-shin TV, we are focusing on the hearts and making eye contact with young people who are struggling alone.
Since our second meeting, many have continued to send in their stories, expressing regret at not being able to be present on-site.
As we read through their stories—ranging from anxiety and frustration about themselves to relationship concerns and difficult-to-talk-about family matters—we wanted to hold a time to listen to the innermost feelings of these young people and share stories during our third meeting as well.
The suffocating feeling weighing me down
The helplessness of not knowing what to do
The regrets rising as to why I acted that way back then…
