Classic Reuben Sandwich
All you need to make a satisfying Reuben sandwich at home can be found in our store! Here’s what you need:
• Rye bread
• Huber’s corned beef, sliced
• Emmentaler cheese, sliced
• Sauerkraut, squeezed to remove excess liquid
• Simple Russian dressing made with 2 tbsps mayo, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp horseradish, 2 tsps chilli sauce, 2 tsps white wine vinegar, 1 tsp worchestershire sauce and salt to taste
Method +
1) Cut rye bread into 1/2-inch thick slices and grill them in a pan with some butter. Set aside.
2) In the same pan, place corned beef and let it heat up for a few seconds each side. You got to do this quick!
3) Sauté sauerkraut to heat it through.
4) Spread russian dressing on both slices, top with sauerkraut, corned beef and cheese.
5) Grill the entire sandwich until cheese is melted and gooey.
6) Wrap in parchment paper and slice in half. Enjoy!
