#2 Solarcon A-99 CB Antenna-Start to Finish
After watching lots of YouTube videos, I bought the Solarcon A-99 CB Antenna. I am 75 years old. I have a complete Rotator Cuff Tear in my right shoulder and probably need a right knee replacement. I am on Gabapentin for Neuropathy in my feet. My point is that I accomplished the construction and the raising of this 37 & 15 feet high CB Antenna by myself. I start with the arrival of the antenna while I was working in my front yard. I conclude this video with the antenna sticking up high above the house. For those of you who are not sure about trying this by yourself, I really advise against it, if you are going to mount it so high. I chose not to include a ground plane as the videos I watched said it did not make much difference. No one seems to agree on that point. I present this video in the hope that some of you will learn from an Old Timer's many mistakes.
