# 14 Tecsun H-501x Short Wave Scan with 20' Inside Antenna
In this video I ran a short scan of the Short Wave Band using an 20' Wire Antenna strung up the wall and across the ceiling. The antenna was plugged in the AM jack. I rarely use this inside antenna since I have outside antennas. The time was about 11:00 pm and the weather had just started raining. To scan, I pressed the VF Button. This runs a scan and stops for ten seconds when a potential station is located. Then it moves on to locate the next station. Of course, some potential stations are static. I used a GoPro 10 on a short tripod to film this video. This is much easier than filming the smaller radios. The sound is straight from the GoPro 10. I will try using the Zoom H1n recorder in later videos.
