Welcome to We Lift You, where we guide you to lift smarter and safer every time.
Today, we’re highlighting Bodyweight Pull-Ups, a powerful compound movement that targets your lats and improves upper body control, width, and strength.
✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Bodyweight Pull-Ups
• Grab a pull-up bar with an overhand grip (palms facing away), slightly wider than shoulder-width.
• Let your body hang fully extended, legs crossed, and core engaged.
• Retract your shoulder blades slightly before pulling, this activates your lats and stabilizers.
• Keep your neck neutral and your gaze forward or slightly upward.
• Exhale as you drive your elbows down and back, lifting your chest toward the bar.
• Aim to bring your chin above the bar while minimizing body swing.
• Inhale as you slowly lower yourself to the starting position.
• Fully extend your arms at the bottom while maintaining back tension for full range of motion.
