Welcome to We Lift You, where we guide you to lift smarter and safer every time.
Today, we’re focusing on Bodyweight Dips, a powerhouse compound movement that targets your triceps, chest, and anterior delts, making it an essential addition to your upper body routine.
✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Bodyweight Dips
• Use parallel bars or a dip station. Grip the bars firmly and lift yourself up so your arms are fully extended.
• Keep your chest slightly forward, legs bent, and core tight.
• Before descending, brace your core and engage your shoulders by slightly pulling them down and back.
• Keep your elbows soft, not locked out.
• Inhale as you slowly bend your elbows and lower your body.
• Lower until your elbows go slightly below shoulder level to maximize chest engagement.
• Keep your elbows tucked slightly to avoid flaring out.
• Exhale as you press yourself back up to the starting position.
• Squeeze your triceps and chest at the top of the rep to maximize contraction.
