Welcome to We Lift You, where we guide you to lift safer and stronger workouts!

Today, we’re focusing on Incline Bench Single-Arm Cable Lat Pulls, a powerful exercise for isolating the lats, improving back strength, and enhancing unilateral muscle engagement while minimizing momentum.

✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Incline Bench Single-Arm Cable Lat Pulls:

• Adjust an incline bench, as shown in the video, and position it in front of a cable machine.
• Attach a D-handle to a high pulley and select an appropriate weight.
• Lie face down on the incline bench with your chest supported.
• Grab the handle with one hand, keeping your arm fully extended, while making sure the cable is fully aligned with your arm.
• Brace your core and maintain a neutral spine to stabilize your body throughout the movement.
• Exhale and pull the handle down toward your torso by engaging your lat muscles.
• Keep your elbow close to your body and avoid shrugging your shoulder.
• Squeeze your lat at the bottom of the movement for maximum contraction.
• Inhale as you slowly extend your arm back to the starting position in a controlled motion.
• Keep tension on the muscle and avoid fully relaxing at the top.
• Maintain a slow, controlled movement throughout both the pulling and returning phases.
• Avoid using momentum or excessive body movement to lift the weight.
