Quick Picanha Steak - History. My friends and I gathered for the weekend at my house. I always love it when we get together, because everyone brings something delicious.
This time, I decided to treat the group to quick grilled picanha steaks.
⠀
Picanha is a true delicacy. Once popular only in Brazil, it is now loved and cooked in many countries.
Cooking a delicious picanha steak requires a little skill and, of course, a grill.
⠀
I sprinkled the entire picanha with spices and, while the meat was marinating, I preheated the grill to the right temperature.
This is important – the grill needs to be hot enough to give the steaks a nice crust, but not so hot that the meat doesn't dry out.
⠀
When the grill was ready, I placed the marinated picanha on it. The aroma of the grilling meat was simply amazing! ⠀
First, I seared the entire piece of meat on all sides over high heat. This helps the steaks cook properly on the grill.
Then, I cut the seared piece into steaks and generously seasoned each one.
The secret is to use plenty of seasoning—it adds real flavor to the steak.
⠀
I seared the steaks for just a few minutes on each side to ensure they remained juicy on the inside.
You can't overcook the picanha—you want to preserve its delicate flavor.
⠀
When the steaks were done, I removed them from the grill and let them rest for a bit under foil.
This allows the juices to evenly infuse the meat and make it even juicier.
⠀
While the steaks were resting, my friends and I set out sauces and side dishes.
We also prepared a vegetable salad and fresh bread—after all, healthy eating is key! ⠀
When it was finally time to try my picanha steaks, everyone was delighted.
The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Even the most discerning gourmet couldn't remain indifferent to such a dish.
⠀
This evening will remain in everyone's memories for a long time. After all, nothing brings friends together better than delicious food and good company.
And the grilled picanha steaks were a true revelation for our culinary gathering.
