How To: Create a Free-form Line ("Scribble") Within Microsoft Excel
You can create a free-form line within Excel by going to the Insert menu tab, and clicking the drop-down "Shapes" men in the Illustrations section. Click on the "Scribble" (the farthest right icon under "Lines"). Hold down the left mouse button to create the scribble. When you release the mouse button, you can move and format the scribble like any other line.
