Performance is heavily outdated by now, Xenia improved a lot. BUT settings are still correct.

General settings:
Mount_cache = true (water is wet, fire burns, and mount_cache has to be enabled)
Vsync = false for unlimited FPS. If you experience UI flickering, keep vsync = true, but change vsync_interval within 8-1 range to lock the FPS. To get about 60 fps, use 7 or 8, if you want to go higher than 60FPS, use 6 or less.

A: Enable readback_resolve, then update thumbnail by changing the car visually, and then disable readback_resolve. Fixed thumbnails will be working, as long as you don't edit the car visually again. Xenia has a shortcut for readback_resolve, so you can do it without restarting the game.

A: Press F5 when that happens, this will delete runtime cache. You CAN'T prevent artifacts by pressing F5 when everything is fine. Cache have to be cleared during gameplay, at the moment when artifacts are happening.
