Open Face Pizza Burgers
Hello to all our Fox Hallow Fam. This week we are bringing you our Back to School episode and showing a quick and fun recipe for open face pizza burgers. They are quick simple and so good to make So if you are ready then lets have some fun
Open Face Pizza Burgers
1½ lbs ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
15 oz jar pizza sauce
4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces
1 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp oregano
6 hamburger buns, toasted
1-2 cups shredded mozzarella
• Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet, breaking up into small crumbles. Drain off excess liquid.
• Stir in the pizza sauce, mushrooms, sugar and oregano. Mix well.
• Spoon the beef mixture onto toasted hamburger buns and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
• Place under the broiler (about 4” from the heat) and broil until the cheese is melted.
