Bar-tailed Godwits filmed in slow-motion with the OM1
I filmed Bar-tailed Godwits with my OM1 & 150-400mm f4.5 TC1.25X Pro lens at 240 fps in 1080p (Full HD) mode. In this mode, the OM1 cannot perform continuous auto-focus. Therefore, I manually focused on the flock of 60-70 godwits, panning with a monopod. Combined with the OM1's impressive image stabilisation system, this yielded some good footage footage.
This video also contains editorial opinion about the environmental vandalism perpetrated at Burrawan (a.k.a. Lake Innes) in 1933.
