About this video: So today, we’ve got a watch video. Specifically, we are going to be reviewing the Omega Seamaster Professional 300m.

I’ve been daily driving the watch for around two months, and honestly, there is nothing like these Seamasters in my opinion. They are truly all unique and incredible in their own way. I have also had the privilege of seeing the 007 special edition that Patrick go as well, and while technically the same case, size, etc., these watches are completely different, and that is really cool. Omega has tried really hard to set these watches, even in the same model line up, apart from each other. Something I can appreciate.

Now the first part of purchasing an Omega Seamaster Professional 300m is the unboxing experience. Because of this, I figured the package of the Omega would be a great place to start this review.

When I first opened the box, the first word that comes to mind is ‘wow!’. I was absolutely blown away by the Omega unboxing experience. The box is wooden and stunning, and every single part seemed thought out. We recently purchased Tudor Prince Day+Dates, and Tudor’s unboxing was horrible in comparison to Omega. I want to display my Omega box. The Tudor box is hiding in the closet.

What about the actually watch itself though? Well, let’s sit down and talk about it.

As far as the watch goes, the Seamaster 300m is HUGE. That was my first impression. Coming from a 39mm Tudor Day+Date and 36mm Vintage Seamaster, these new 42mm Omega Seamasters are TANKS. With the size though, the Seamaster 300m is STURDY.

There is tons of weight, and you can really feel it on your wrist. If you want something that is subtle on your wrist, this is not the watch for you. It is a weight on the wrist, and a true eye catcher in public.

Presence aside, the looks of the Seamaster Professional are amazing. I love this specific model with the blue, gold, and stainless steel. The dial has the laser etched wave pattern in it, and the hands look and read beautifully. the date window in my opinion though does look a little out of place. However, it is pretty easy to see and balances the watch out by being at 6 o’clock.

You can’t talk about this watch though without mentioning the movement. This watch features the a Master Chronometer Caliber 8800 which has a 55 hour power reserve and a 3.5Hz frequency. I’ll be honest. I’m not the most well versed on movements, but what I do know is that this is a power house compared to my other watches. Not only in terms of accuracy, but the power reserve, look and feel of this movement truly are top notch.

Now there is one more thing that I want to mention about the Omega Seamaster Professional, and it is the rubber band that this watch is sold on. Honestly, it sucks. Like, I’m not one for negativity, and I try to look for the positive in everything, but unless you are diving with this watch, plan to switch the bands quickly. The rubber band creates sweat, pulls hairs on the arm, and is even difficult to latch.

I switched into a HODINKEE NATO strap about a week after purchase, and I haven’t looked back since. It makes the watch so much more wearable.

Overall though, I absolutely love the Seamaster Professional 300m. It is stylish, incredibly durable, and grabs the eye everywhere you go.
