Galantis - Smile (Metris Mix)
Okay, so I've wanted to release this for a while as it's the first true Metris Mix I ever did (a little under two years ago, wow). My original intention with said mix was to improve the drop of the original as it was my own true flaw with it; it didn't hid hard enough. The track around it is pretty good, and a great first single for Galantis, but the drops definitely could have been improved upon. Then I came across the East & Young remix, and thought that those drops could be implemented for a more progressive rendition of the original. And personally, I fucking love it. As someone who enjoys the original, this mix is how I normally listen to it as the quality of the track feels more consistent given how amazing those drops are from East & Young. Finally feeling like it was in a state where it could be released, I really do hope y'all enjoy it as it's one of my favourite projects to have worked on.
