ARTY feat. Ray Dalton - Stronger (Metris Remix)
Okay, so this might be a little out of left field compared to what I usually produce, but I can explain; I like producing ambient music (yeah, it was that simple lol). A lot of what I'm working on as of late has been combining EDM undertones with ambient textures, and this is a solid example of that. To be honest, I wasn't fully sure to release this as a remix initially because of how the vocals might've turned out (couldn't get an official rip, so somewhat filtered was the next best thing - also, stretched to death). Fortunately, the effects placed onto it allowed for an interesting execution I quite like. The sound design in general feels peaceful, slowly expanding with new pads and arpeggios and percussion. And when that bass hits with the vocals, it feels earned. I can admit that this remix is quite out there compared to the original (which is amazing by the way, please go check it out), but it's something different and I like how it turned out. Expect some of my future releases to aim for a similar goal. Anywho, hope y'all enjoy the remix!
