Hey guys, it’s Chris. In today’s video, I’m sharing my thoughts on the official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and my theories about the latest movie.

Peter’s suit looks like he's made some adjustments over the past four years. He’s taken inspiration from the other Spider-Men—Tobey’s webbed lining and Andrew’s Spider lens. The suit looks amazing, and Sony made an already great suit from the end of No Way Home even better.

Action: Spider-Man steps off a skyscraper, diving toward the streets of NYC. Spider-Man versus The Punisher—enough said. Scorpion versus Spider-Man fighting at night on the streets in NYC. This is going to be a PEAK! He swings through the city while being shot at by a tank. I believe this will be the first time Spider-Man is introduced to The Punisher during this tank sequence.

Storylines and Villains: Depressed Peter Parker—broke and overwhelmed by all the responsibilities of being Spider-Man. He feels alone in a world that doesn't remember him. He misses Aunt May and his old life before Doctor Strange’s spell. He witnesses MJ living the life she always wanted. At some point, he will probably tell MJ he is Spider-Man again. Scorpion, The Hand, Tarantula, Boomerang. Among all the villains, Scorpion looks incredible in live action, with a suit design that’s a mix of Scorpion from Spider-Man PS4 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. A good choice to combine these two designs. He will definitely be a fierce foe for Spider-Man.

Many comic book covers are homaged. My personal favorite is the homage to Amazing Fantasy #15. Spider-Man's first appearance was back in 1962, and Brand New Day pays tribute to this classic. Spider-Man mutation issues: He passes out and wakes up inside a cocoon, and rips his way out. Peter is having issues with his mutation, and officially, he goes from using web shooters to organic webs, a clear signal that he is slowly changing.

I’m Spider-Man, and I will see you in the next one!
