It tells how I expanded the capabilities of my milling machine. Now you can install circular circular saws and large-diameter circular cutters on it. Therefore, I was able to easily make a cutting board from suveli.

In order to install a circular saw or a large-diameter circular cutter on the machine, you need mandrels to install them on the spindle.
In a good way, for each mounting size of a cutter or saw, it is necessary to make mandrels, at one end of which there is a Morse taper KM3, and at the other - a seat for saws or cutters.
Settings are not easy to make and take a long time. I already have one such homemade mandrel for disc cutters with a mounting hole with a diameter of 22 mm.
So I decided to make two adapter bushings from 22mm diameter to 30mm and 32mm diameters instead of making two more mandrels.
The problem is that it is necessary to ensure minimum axial runout of the two ends and minimum radial runout of the two diameters. This can be achieved practically only if the entire bushing is manufactured in one installation.
Production for a disk cutter with a bore diameter of 32 mm is shown. I made bushings for another circular cutter and for a circular saw.
During processing, one end of the sleeve is invisible. It must be processed blindly, through a 22 mm hole. I processed it with a homemade cutter, which I made using welding.
I cut a piece with carbide tipping from the disk cutter and welded it to the holder. A cutter of this shape allows you to process a hidden end.

I tested the bushings on a milling machine.
I cut off a birch tree. One cut was made with a circular router, and the other with a circular saw.
Both bushings work well.

I think it turned out beautifully.
Suvel's texture resembles marble or mother-of-pearl. In addition, suvel is harder and denser than ordinary wood and is easily polished. Therefore, I decided to make a small cutting board for my wife from one cut for the New Year.
I processed the suvel on a grinder, sanded it, and coated it with oil.
This is how you can easily make a cutting board with a large diameter router or circular saw.
