How to write professional reports?
I get two questions asked very often. First one is how should you structure a report? In fact, this is probably the most important one question I get asked. But, actually a much more useful question is how should I go about writing it? What is the process, what's the methodology, if you like, what's the steps to writing a report? And, that's what I want to talk about in this video. You see, the fact is a lot of people will have to write a report and then spend a lot of time getting started. They keep putting it off and procrastinating and ruminating and oh, I don't know what to do and I know where to start. And then write a bit and then delete it and start again. And then of course, the deadline is coming towards you, coming towards you, coming towards you. It's got to be in by tomorrow and you sit down and do 5 hours of work and then check it and check it and it's 2:00am and in the morning and you hope it's okay. Now, that's not a good methodology for writing a report.
