Here's another thought on time management. Ask yourself the $64,000 question at random intervals during the day. So, what is the $64,000 question? Well, this isn't a name of a game show, although I think it was a game show many years ago. It actually comes from the story of Andrew Carnegie, a very successful self-made millionaire who worked in America about 100 years or more ago. He ran the All American Steel Corporation, an incredibly successful, ambitious man who hired a consultant at one point in his career and tasked him with a very simple project.
“How can I be more successful?”
The consultant agreed to take on the assignment and agreed to charge him $64,000 which he had to pay in advance. Now, that's about half a million dollars in today's money. So, the consultant followed Andrew Carnegie around time, and Motion Study wrote down everything he did. Every waking minute was recorded by the consultant who analysed this and came back with the answer to the question, "how he could be more successful?"
