5029 - Farewell Nunney
Unfortunately, towards the end of last month, GWR Castle class No. 5029 Nunney Castle was withdrawn from service following firebox and boiler stay issues. This combined with it's boiler ticket nearly at expiry point, It is likely that the castle won't return to the mainline again. To mark this sad news, I decided to put together a few scenes of Nunney doing what she does best filmed across 2013 and 2014. As Nunney was mainly allocated to tours in the west, I didn't get to film the castle that often but here's the best few shots I got of her in the last two years.
