Great Central Railway Winter Steam Gala 2015
The Great Central Railway held their 2015 Winter Steam Gala from the 30th of January to the 1st of February. This year the visiting locomotives had a Great Western theme to them with Collett Manor 4-6-0 No. 7820 Dinmore Manor from the WSR and Hawksworth 15xx 0-6-0PT from the SVR. The two guests were also accompanied by the GCR home fleet including LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No 48624 painted in black and weathered.
As usual, the Great Central Railway put on a fine gala over the weekend with plenty of action, just a shame the weather didn't always behave. Footage filmed on Saturday and Sunday.
