Winter Magic - 4965 The Lindum Fayre 6/12/14
On Saturday 6 December 2014, GWR Hall Class no 4965 Rood Ashton Hall returned to the mainline with the Vintage Trains Ltd run 'The Lindum Christmas Fayre' steam hauled from Tyesley to Lincoln and return. With perfect conditions for steam and a early start, I headed out towards Coleshill for the outward leg of the tour. Filmed with two camera's; the hall is seen powering away from Whitacre Junction and is then seen again storming up Shustoke Bank.
