Absentee voting, per se, does not exist in France, but you can arrange for someone to do it for you. It's a hassle, as they have to have your ID, their ID, and so on. I usually vote in the USA and France, since I have two nationalities.
I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this one. I don't have enough information. I can't find a thing on Cavanagh, the other candidate SEEMS okay but I'll have to check more, and I don't know alternatives there. I usually vote third-party in the USA and have been registered Independent there since the Bush years.
