Some of the horse statues have real tails. The camels, the standing human figures ... all are very dramatic and I found them very joyous.
There is an excellent restaurant in this museum near the Eiffel Tower, and you can go crazy with the museums here right in this area. As I left this museum today, I teased a female worker, "Never take LSD and view these collections!" She was a bit surprised, and I said, "They're too hallucinatory! Too likely to flip you out! This was not my first visit here by any means, and this place always blows my mind!!" She laughed heartily, very young blonde woman, and agreed. There is a fashion museum by here, a museum of modern art, a museum of contemporary art, the famous cemetery of Passy, which should never be missed, and much more.
