The DEI Strategies for Success Model Fostering Innovations to Overcome Challenges
This session about the DEI Strategies for Success Model will promote innovative best practices to identify student challenges and provide resources that help overcome barriers. Attendees will understand how these strategies enhance student success across five educational benchmarks: recruitment and access, retention, timely graduation, passing the NCLEX-RN exam on the first attempt, and entering the workforce as practice-ready RNs.
Dr. Diane Breckenridge is the Founding Dean and Professor of Nursing at Westcliff University. She serves as Chief Nurse Administrator and the CA BRN Approved Director. Dr. Breckenridge, 1988 to present, has continually developed Strategies for Success for students aspiring to a career in nursing and other healthcare professions.
