Security of IoT Devices
This symposium session examines the security challenges of IoT devices and discusses future directions for enhancing IoT security. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of interconnected devices that communicate and exchange data. IoT devices have benefits across many sectors but have also pose a risk of cyber-attacks.
Dr. Patricia G. Foley has worked within the Computer and IT industry for more than 30 years. She has held a variety of positions, including manager of an Internet company, and as an Engineer at Siemens. Professor Foley has a Doctorate in Information Assurance and holds several IT certifications.
