This presentation shows a research study that develops and validates a theoretical needs analysis framework for effective English-Medium Instruction (EMI) in Mexican higher education. It incorporates an integrative literature review, stakeholder feedback, and expert validation to create a theoretical framework for application in emerging contexts globally.

Sophia Romanic is a Learning Management System Administrator at The University of Montana-Western and Helena College, focusing on Moodle and Canvas. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Linguistics and an Assistant Professor at Westcliff University, specializing in Education and TESOL. Her expertise includes digital education, curriculum development, and educational technology, highlighted by her role as a U.S. Department of State Virtual English Language Fellow.
