1951 Smith-Corona Silent typewriter at work: Medium Roman Script typeface
Here's an oddity from my collection. Vertical Script, a font Ted Munk has traced back to the early 1900s, is rare enough in its own right -- but this typewriter features a rare variant even of that: It's called Medium Roman Script No. 32, and it features a sort of hybrid combination of Roman caps and vertical script lowercase letters. This is the only example of this typeface I've personally encountered in more than 40 years as a hobbyist collector of these vintage machines.
