1966 Underwood 18 ultraportable typewriter at work
In 1966, Olivetti had owned Underwood already for almost seven years, but the story of this machine is even more complicated: under the cast-aluminum bodywork, the working mechanism of this typewriter is that of another Italian make, Antares. At under eight pounds this is a true ultraportable, and a nifty little machine.
