1953 Royal Quiet De Luxe typewriter at work
This is the RA variant of the Quiet De Luxe, with the "speed control" dial on the machine's left side, a feature offered only from 1953 to 1956. I don't think it makes a great difference, but it's a cool feature. And just look at the fantastic imprint this typewriter leaves on paper (elite type, 12 cpi).
