Drag footage to new comp. Hit S for scale then hold shift and hit p for position. Scale up to about 110. Alt click on position stopwatch. Type in wiggle(1,20). 1 stands for how many times in one second it wiggles. 20 represent the number of pixels it moves. Play with these setting to get your feel. Avoid going overboard with this effect to avoid it becoming a distraction. Sometimes I’ll get a stationary shot on a tripod with the intention of creating this handheld effect in post to give me more control over the camera movement rather than doing it free hand.
