The Quick Guide to Getting Rid of Grasshoppers! [DIY Pest Control]
Grasshoppers are some of the more destructive pests known around the world. Not only do they target grass, but they’ll also invade gardens and damage crops.
If your property is infested with grasshoppers, control the population with a residual insecticide like Supreme IT. Supreme IT is a bifenthrin-based concentrate that controls over 70 labeled pests.
Broadcast a solution of Supreme IT over your lawn and garden ornamentals at the labeled rate of 0.25 to 0.5 fluid ounces of product over 1,000 square feet. Use at least 1 gallon of water per 1,000 square feet to ensure adequate spray volume.
Make applications with a fan or cone-shaped spray pattern to ensure the grass and other foliage are evenly coated, and spray to the point of wet but not runoff.
When properly applied, Supreme IT will control grasshoppers on contact and repel insects from treated areas for up to three months.
